Do you know what type of environment your pug was breed & raised in ?
Unfortunately many breeding dogs live their lives contained to small runs & cement floored cages, often Pugs kept like this develop mental health problems, experience anxiety, hyperactivity, shyness, aggression & obsessive compulsive disorders like constant chewing & licking some call this “Cage Crazy”.
Of course we have accomodation where our Pugs can be contained for their own safety, we always make sure our pugs are contained within their individual grassed yards when vehicles are moving around the homestead area or we are away from home.
At PugLove our Puppies are raised in our home, they have their own room in our home (we had to renovate to accommodate our Pugs, the things we do for our love of Pugs).
We find raising our puppies in our loving family environment with our children & other much loved family pets ( cats, chooks, horses, sheep, cattle & birds ) helps them develop excellent social skills, this is especially important when transitioning to their forever homes.
it’s very important to know your puppy has been breed & raised ethically in a nurturing environment
